Contraindications: Pro-Clenbuterol is contraindicated in individuals with pre-existing cardiac arrhythmia, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, uncontrolled hypertension, or known hypersensitivity to sympathomimetic agents. The thermogenic and cardiovascular stimulant burden is additive with other stimulant compounds — concurrent use with ephedrine, caffeine, or thyroid hormones requires particular caution and is not recommended without clinical oversight.
Side_Effects: Elevated resting heart rate and palpitations are the most commonly reported cardiovascular effects, typically observed at doses above 80 mcg/day. Thermogenesis-related effects include excessive sweating, heat intolerance, and mild tremor of the extremities — all dose-dependent. Muscle cramping has been reported and is associated with electrolyte shifts; adequate potassium and taurine intake may mitigate this. Insomnia is common if doses are taken in the afternoon or evening given the stimulant half-life.
Monitoring: Track morning resting temperature daily as a thermogenic activity proxy. Monitor resting heart rate each morning before dosing — values consistently above 90 bpm at rest are a signal to reduce dosage or pause the cycle. Electrolyte panels (sodium, potassium, magnesium) should be checked if cramping or fatigue develops. Do not exceed 120 mcg/day under any circumstances.
PCT: Clenbuterol does not suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis and does not require post-cycle therapy in isolation. When used as part of a broader anabolic-androgenic steroid cycle, standard PCT protocols for the steroid compounds apply independently. A two-week clearance interval between Clenbuterol cycles is necessary to allow adrenergic receptor resensitisation before thermogenic stimulus can be meaningfully re-established.
