Contraindications: Not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity to stanozolol or any component of the aqueous suspension. Contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with active hepatic disease, untreated hypercalcaemia, or prostate/breast carcinoma. Adolescents with open growth plates should not use this compound.
Side Effects: Potential adverse effects include HDL cholesterol suppression (dose and duration dependent), hepatotoxic enzyme elevation (ALT/AST), androgenic effects such as acne and accelerated scalp hair loss in genetically predisposed users, virilisation in female users (voice deepening, clitoral enlargement), and injection-site discomfort associated with the aqueous vehicle. Tendon stiffness and joint dryness have been reported in clinical and athlete case data.
Monitoring: Lipid panel (LDL, HDL, total cholesterol, triglycerides) should be assessed at baseline and at four-week intervals during use. Liver function tests (ALT, AST, bilirubin) are recommended every four weeks. Blood pressure monitoring is advised at each injection-timing checkpoint, particularly during higher-frequency phases. Users stacking stanozolol with additional androgens should monitor haemoglobin and haematocrit.
PCT: Post-cycle therapy addressing hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal (HPG) axis suppression should be initiated within 48–72 hours of the final injection. Standard PCT agents include selective oestrogen receptor modulators (SERMs) such as tamoxifen or clomiphene, typically continued for four weeks post-cycle. Lipid values should be reassessed at PCT completion to confirm recovery trajectory.
