Contraindications: Deca 300 is contraindicated in individuals with androgen-sensitive carcinoma (prostate or breast), nephrotic syndrome, active liver disease, hypercalcemia, or a documented hypersensitivity to Nandrolone or any oil-based excipient. Women of childbearing potential should not use this compound due to virilisation risk and fetal androgenisation.
Side Effects: Potential adverse effects include HPG axis suppression (requiring exogenous testosterone co-administration), mild-to-moderate elevation of serum prolactin at doses above 200 mg/week, erythrocytosis (elevated hematocrit), unfavourable shifts in HDL/LDL cholesterol ratios, and injection-site reactions. Androgenic effects such as accelerated scalp hair recession are dose-dependent and less pronounced than with testosterone at equivalent anabolic doses.
Monitoring: Obtain full endocrine panels (testosterone, estradiol, prolactin, LH, FSH), PSA, hematocrit, and fasting lipids at baseline and every 8–12 weeks during active use. Cardiovascular fitness testing (BP, resting heart rate) is recommended for users over 45. Report any sudden changes in urinary flow, breast tissue sensitivity, or mood to a supervising physician promptly.
PCT: Due to the decanoate ester's extended half-life, Nandrolone plasma concentrations do not decline to clearance thresholds until approximately 3–4 weeks after the final injection. Initiate SERM-based PCT (clomiphene or tamoxifen) only after this window has elapsed. Men on continuous TRT who incorporate Nandrolone should taper and discontinue the Nandrolone component while maintaining their prescribed testosterone dose indefinitely.
