Contraindications: Cenforce 200 is absolutely contraindicated with any nitrate medication (organic nitrates and nitric oxide donors) due to potentially severe additive hypotension. It is also contraindicated in patients with recent stroke or myocardial infarction (within 6 months), unstable angina, hereditary degenerative retinal disorders, and in those with known hypersensitivity to sildenafil citrate. The 200 mg dose represents the ceiling of studied sildenafil exposure; patients with hepatic impairment, renal impairment (CrCl < 30 mL/min), or concurrent use of CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, ritonavir) must not use this strength without specialist review.
Side Effects: At 200 mg, vasodilatory adverse effects — including headache, facial flushing, nasal congestion, and visual disturbances (blue-tinge chromopsia, transient blurred vision) — occur with greater frequency than at standard doses. Priapism (sustained erection exceeding 4 hours) requires immediate emergency care to prevent permanent tissue damage. Sudden hearing loss has been reported rarely with PDE5 inhibitors; discontinue immediately if acute auditory changes occur.
Monitoring: Blood pressure should be assessed before initiating any PDE5 inhibitor at the 200 mg level, particularly in men with borderline hypotension or those on antihypertensive therapy. Report any visual changes to a physician promptly. Men with underlying cardiovascular disease should undergo risk stratification by a cardiologist before using this dose tier.
PCT / Interaction Note: Cenforce 200 carries no hormonal activity and does not require post-cycle therapy in the anabolic context. However, bodybuilders concurrently using androgenic compounds with known cardiovascular effects (LVH, altered lipid profiles) should obtain explicit medical clearance before using the 200 mg dose, as compound cardiovascular load is additive.
